The History of Kings Kanthavarayan & Senthavarayan

There were Kings called Kanthavarayan & Senthavaran who ruled the thiruvidaichuram and surroundings near Chengelpet. They are brothers and Vanniyakula Kshatriyas by caste. When Vijayanagara emperor Krishnadeva raya captured the tamil lands, he was unable to capture thiruvidaichuram due to the braveness and  fighting methods of these brothers. This is the documentary about them. 

செங்கல்பட்டுக்கு அருகில் திருவிடைசுரத்தில் கோட்டை கட்டி ஆட்சி செய்தனர் வன்னியகுல க்ஷத்ரிய மரபை சேர்ந்த அரசர்கள் காந்தவராயன்  மற்றும் சேந்தவராயன். தமிழ் நிலத்தில் பெரும்பகுதியை கைப்பற்றிய விஜயநகர மன்னர் கிருஷ்ணதேவராயனால் திருவிடைசுரத்தை பல காலம் கைப்பற்ற முடியவில்லை. காந்தவராயன் சேந்தவராயன் சகோதரர்களின் வீரமும் போர் யுக்தியும் கிருஷ்ணதேவராயனின் பெரும்படைகளை சிதறி ஓட செய்தது. அத்தகைய வீரம் நிறைந்த வன்னிய அரச சகோதரர்களை பற்றி ஆவணப்படம் இது.
